Hello Cowpokes
Not a drop of rain until the last people were exiting the front gate. Stayed overcast the whole match which helped take a bite out of the temperatures but the sun came out at tear down time just long enough to make that a little sweaty. After discovering a hornets nest in the ground under the stable, a quick adjustment of targets and shooting location was all that was needed. Well, maybe the gallon of gas we poured down it also helped.. Speaking of helping, the Kuba Kid, Beer Barrel and the NoVA Kid helped themselves to the Clean All Day honors. We also had a father and son team check out their first ever SASS match. Thank you everyone for all your help with the match chores and a special thank you to the NoVA Kid for his hard work on Saturday.
Don’t forget the deadline for the SASS VA. State Match is in about a week and it takes almost that long for the mail to deliver. You can shoot me an email to let me know if you are coming also. Results linked below.

Match Results – Overall Winners by Time 8/4/2024
Hello there Pards
Time to load up the saddle bags, water the horses and saddle them up. There’s gonna be a cowboy match at Cavalier this Sunday.and you’re all invited. Gates open at 8:30 with first shot down range at 10:00. Some stages on Sunday may be used in the state match so it’s a good chance to practice up. Stages provided by me.
Setup for Sunday’s match will be on Saturday starting at 4:00. Bingo and Ripsaw won’t be there so any and all help will be appreciated.

NOTE: State Match is in just a few weeks so stop dilly dagging and please fill out those registrations and send them by Pony Express or come by and hand them over in person.
