Good evening all you fine people out there in Cowboyville. I hope you are all warm and toasty at this time. Eight folks decided that warm and toasty wasn’t on their agenda, at least not for this morning. Heaters and warm hearts saw everyone through with little discomfort. Despite the bullet and target shrinkage due to the cold, three managed to shoot CAD, Bingo, Pete Fury and Tree Doc Red. Note: stage one I forgot shotgun shells.
Bang – ding, bang – ding, bang – ding. That’s the sound of the 2025 Cowboy Action Shooting season opener. The laid back bad guys at Cavalier are kicking off the season with their first Sunday of the month match this Sunday, January 5th, 2025. It’s going to be a little on the chilly side but you can dress any way you want to stay warm. As you already know, we have heaters and they will be cranking. I am sorry that the stages were written by me but you may find them interesting, just maybe. Oil up your shootin irons, load up a thermos of hot coffee or hot chocolate and slide on out Gates open about 8:30, safety briefing at 9:45 with first shot down range at 10:00.
