The Cavalier Cowboys and the Cavalier Rifle & Pistol Club hereby invites all cowboy action shooters to the Inaugural Gunfight at the Double-C, our annual two day championship match on November 7th & 8th, 2015.
The $45.00 all-inclusive match fee covers 12 main match stages, a Chili Lunch/Cowboy Social on Saturday, name badge, match handbook, door prizes and awards.
For those traveling from afar we have both a host hotel with discounted rates and limited onsite camping available. For those cowboys who cannot shoot both days a one day registration is available at our normal match fees.
We look forward to shooting with all our cowboy friends in November!!

The Cavalier Cowboys held their monthly 1st Sunday match on September 6th, 2015 at the Cavalier Rifle & Pistol Club.
We had 15 cowboy/cowgirl shooters plus several future cowboys watching their first match. The Top Overall Shooter was myself. Congratulations to our 5 Clean All Day Shooters; myself, Swifty McDraw, Prairie City Slim, Virginia Rifleman and Cotton I Joe (shooting his first ever clean match)!!

The forecast is for clear skies and 80 degrees at the start of the match and getting up to 90 degrees be the end of the match. We will have tents and fans setup and will have plenty of iced down drinking water.

The dress code for Sunday is currently Standard Cowboy Dress. However, the long range forecast is flirting with being hot enough for Cowboy Casual, so I will send out an update on Friday afternoon with the final call on the dress code, but assume Standard Cowboy Dress code for now.
