Cowboys & Cowgirls,
The Cavalier Cowboys will be holding their monthly 1st Sunday match on July 2nd, 2017, at the Cavalier Rifle & Pistol Club.
We will send out an update on Friday with the dress code for the day and we will have tents / fans setup to address the weather.
The stages have been written by myself and are attached in MS Word and PDF formats. FYI, I have included a pistol reload on stage number six.

As usual, we will be holding our Cowboy Social after the match and everyone is invited to stay and enjoy some cowboy fellowship. Since it is the 4th of July weekend, the Cavalier Cowboys will be cooking up some hot dogs along with all of the fixings as part of our Cowboy Social. Everyone is invited to bring along your favorite beverages and snacks.
Most of you have seen this already on the Mattaponi Sundowners email but wanted to address it here again:
In regards to the “Cool Rags” aka “Cooling Towels”, the absorbent rags/towels that you wet with water / ice and place on your head / neck to help keep cool in hot weather.
Everyone is welcome to use these type of items at our matches but….
Please DO NOT dunk the towels into the ice water, Please DO NOT wring the towels out into the ice water, etc. etc..
It is very unsanitary and a health issue to do so because people are drinking from water bottles that are in the ice water.

Costs:
The individual match fee for members of Cavalier Rifle & Pistol Club is $10.00
The individual match fee for non-members of Cavalier Rifle & Pistol Club is $15.00
The match fee for couples (2 individuals living in the same home) is $25.00
The match fee for “Young Guns” (students 18 years old or younger) is $0.00 FREE
Payment:
Payment of match fee is due during match registration
Payment via Cash or Check is acceptable

Start Times:
1st Sunday Matches – For our Sunday Matches the match begins at 10:00am, the gates will be open from 8:00am till 9:30am, registration will run from 8:30 until 9:30 and the mandatory safety meeting will be at 9:45am.
